Involving the people of Wales in their work is an essential part of the Welsh Government’s policy-making process. Consultations are formal exercises carried out to seek the views of people and organisations on things the Welsh Government is proposing to do to give the public a say in decisions that affect them and in order that policies will be more informed and effective.
